Yes! We have both YAG and ALEX wavelengths, which are safe for all skin tones and ethnicities.

Our lasers target pigment in the hair follicle and can treat dark coarse hair or dark fine hair. Laser hair removal does not treat blonde, white, gray and some shades of red hair. Our Cutera laser can treat people of any skin tone or ethnicity. Laser hair removal cannot be performed on pregnant women.

The procedure works by slowing the growth capacity of hair follicles that are in the active growth cycle at the time of treatment. The laser targets the darkness/ melanin pigment in the hair follicle in order to reach and destroy the root bulb of the hair.  Since the hair follicle is connected to the root bulb only during the growth phase of the hair, the laser must target the hair follicle during this cycle. Several treatments are necessary to disable most of the follicles in a particular area due to the hair growth cycles at different times.

Results are unique to each individual. Typically, 6-12 treatments are recommended, but it may be more or less.

Our lasers use a special cooling system that lowers the temperature of the skin at the treatment site before, during, and after laser exposure.  Therefore, the treatment is generally not painful and is well tolerated. The treatment sensation can be described like the snap of a rubber band.

This varies depending on the body area, but generally, it is best to wait 4-8 weeks between treatments. There is no advantage to scheduling your visits closer together even if you do not see immediate results. The laser only targets hair in the growth phase which is generally in 4-8 weeks. 

Results varies with each individual. Studies have shown that many clients can achieve hair reduction up to 85-90% and remaining hair returns lighter and softer.

There is no recovery or down time. Client can return to their normal activities immediately. After the treatment you may experience a slight reddening of the skin similar to a sunburn that will resolve within a few hours to days.

6-12 treatments are required every three to four weeks for best results. The more consistent, the better the results. To follow 1- 2 treatments once a year. 

This treatment is described as droplets of heat on the skin. You feel more of a heat sensation, and it is not painful at all.

Your skin should be thoroughly cleaned and dried, removing any makeup, creams, oils, topical anesthetics or self-tanning products before laser treatment. The intended treatment area should not be exposed to sunlight or tanning booth light for 4-6 weeks prior to treatment. If treated within 3 weeks of active (natural sunlight or tanning booths), you may develop hypopigmentation (white spots) after treatment, and this may not clear for 2-4 months.  Re-applying your SPF is a must.

After treatment you may have some slight swelling and/or look mildly flushed; redness will go away within a few hours. Continue to apply and re-apply your SPF is important to avoid any hyper/hypopigmentation to the skin.

Yes, you must wait three weeks.

Normal side effects may include redness and swelling, which subside within a few hours. Rare side effects include pigmentation changes, blistering and bruising. Very rare and generally only last a few days. 

Although some people see results instantly, it may take at least 3-4 weeks for you to see a significant improvement in your skin health, especially if you're working on collagen production. A series of treatments are recommended for optimal results.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin perfecting procedure, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy. Microneedles create tiny punctures in the skin, which promote collagen and stimulates the skins natural healing process. This treatment will correct flaws and improves skin quality. Pre-treatment is required before treatment.

Right after the treatment, your skin will have some redness and swelling and is normal to feel like a sunburn, Crusting is completely normal a few days after and is important not to pick, rub or peel the skin; the crusting/dead skin it will fall off naturally on its own. A post treatment kit with guidelines is provided after treatment.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure with a minimum level of pain. The treated area is numbed before treatment. During the procedure you may feel some discomfort depending on your pain tolerance. 

Some clients may see results early on after the treatment. Generally, results take at least a month time for the skin to heal, rebuild and create collagen. Trusting the process and having patience.

It's always recommended to do a series of treatments for best results. Every four weeks apart. 4-6 Microneedling treatments are typical for most candidates.

There is 2-3 days of downtime after treatment.

This treatment cannot be performed with active acne on the skin.

 Dermaplaning is a low-risk procedure. Side effects may include slight redness in your face in the hours after getting the treatment. Some people may develop whiteheads on their skin in the day or two after dermaplaning. It will go away in a few days.

It is a painless process and can be compared to the sensation of shaving.

You don’t need to plan any downtime to recover from a dermaplaning treatment. You may experience redness or feel like your skin is raw 1-3 days after. It is important to be gentle to your skin and not use any actives immediately after treatment.

You may notice that your skin looks brighter immediately after you’re finished with a dermaplaning treatment, but it often takes a few days to appreciate the full results. As any redness subsides, you’ll be able to see the results more clearly in the days afterward.
